Intex launches iBuddy Connect ICS tablet with voice calling for Rs. 7,990

ntex has announced the launch of a 7-inch tablet that runs on Android 4.0.4 ICS, iBuddy Connect, featuring SIM-card support and voice calling, at Rs. 7,990.

Intex Technologies has launched the iBuddy Connect tablet in India for Rs. 7,990. The budget ICS tablet boasts of a 7-inch five-point multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. The tablet will come with a leather cover attached to the keyboard.
Out of the box, the Intex tablet runs on Android 4.0.4 ICS and there is no information on upgrade options to Jelly Bean. The tablet also comes with 32GB built-in storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The device also boasts of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the ability to house a GSM SIM card, with voice calling support, as well as 2G data connectivity. It also has a 2MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the device can be connected to your HDTV straight out of the box with the onboard HDMI out, and also boasts of a USB port with 3G-dongle support. The device also comes with a bunch of preloaded apps that includes Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook and more.
Under the hood a 3000mAh battery powers the budget ICS tablet and the iBuddy is available in two colours - white and chocolate.
