With the iPhone 5 vs Samsung S3 rivalry still in full flow, a new reader poll has seen the Samsung Galaxy S3 voted the best phone currently on the market.
Voting in the recent Trusted Reviews Awards longlist, a little over 41 per cent of readers recommended the Samsung Galaxy S3 for the Best Phone accolade, thrashing Apple’s latest smartphone offering with the iPhone 5 receiving just 26.69 per cent of the reader vote.
Backing up recent sales figures which have seen the Samsung Galaxy S3 outsell the iPhone 5 to remain the UK’s most popular smartphone, the new reader vote figures have seen Apple’s iPhone 4S follow-on sandwiched between another Samsung handset with the expansive Samsung Galaxy Note 2 claiming the remaining Trusted Review Awards finals spot, securing a reasonable 12.41 per cent of the vote.
With the longlist stage now over, the three reader recommended finalists from each category will now be put to a group of industry experts with the eventual Trusted Reviews Awards winners formally unveiled in the New Year.
With 19 categories ranging from Best Game, Best Tablet and Best App of the year to the Best Media Provider, Best Headphones and Best TV, the awards reader vote has helped separate the gadget wheat from the techy chaff ahead of the final decision.
